The National Center for Culture invites you to participate in the 16th edition of the competition <\/a>for the best doctoral thesis in the field of humanities and social sciences in fields related to cultural knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this year’s edition, you can submit doctoral theses defended in the academic years\u00a0\u00a02021\/2022 and 2022\/2023 in<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0the following disciplines:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. cultural and religious studies;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. literary studies;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. art sciences;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. ethnology;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. ethnography;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. cultural anthropology;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. cultural sociology;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. cross-cultural psychology;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. ethnomusicology.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    A jury composed of representatives of the scientific community will evaluate the works and decide to award  three cash prizes in the amount of:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1st prize:<\/strong>\u00a0PLN 10,000<\/strong>
    2nd prize:<\/strong>\u00a0PLN 6,000<\/strong>
    3rd prize:<\/strong>\u00a0PLN 4,000<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The National Cultural Center also plans to publish the winners’ works on its own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    To submit your work to the competition, please complete the application form<\/a> .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Applications are accepted until April 10, <\/strong> 2024<\/strong> .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The Competition Committee will evaluate the works according to the following criteria:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
