Solidarity after the earthquakes of 6 February 2023

After the earthquakes that struck Türkiye on 6 February 2023, TURKPOL joined the aid effort in Poland. It called on the Turkish community and on Polish friends to help, shared the appeal for the cash aid campaign launched in Poland, and volunteers sorted and packed donations at the collection centre in Warsaw.

On 15 February the Polish search and rescue teams came back to Warsaw. Members of the association met them on their return with flowers and Turkish and Polish flags, to thank the rescuers who had pulled 12 people alive from the rubble.
