The Polish Investment and Trade Agency (PAIH) hosted Turkish media representatives on a working visit to Poland under its "Poland Business Forward" programme, which presents the innovation of Polish small and medium-sized firms in electromobility and sustainable automotive solutions, Anadolu Agency reported.

Bartosz Mielecki, executive director of the Poland Automotive Group, said the share of Chinese brands in the Polish car market has risen from about 6 percent to about 13 percent. He noted that vehicles made in Türkiye enter the EU without the customs duties Chinese competitors face, which he described as a major competitive advantage for Türkiye.

Sebastian Wojtas of the battery maker IMPACT said deep cooperation between the two countries in batteries is always possible. He pointed to Turkish companies' role in infrastructure projects in Poland, including the Warsaw metro, motorways and an undersea tunnel.

The programme included visits to municipal transport services and electric bus infrastructure in Katowice, and to the tenth New Mobility Congress.
