Meeting with the chair of the Sejm's Polish–Turkish parliamentary group

In February 2025 TURKPOL hosted Andrzej Szewiński, chair of the Polish–Turkish parliamentary group in the Sejm, at a working lunch in Warsaw.

The association's president presented TURKPOL and its programme for 2025. Mr Szewiński expressed his support for the association's projects in business, culture and sport, including sector-based trade events and the economic forum TURKPOL was preparing for 2025. The meeting went through plans for the 19 May youth and sports festival, an event on the shared history of Polonezköy and Adampol, and the first sector-based B2B meetings. Mr Szewiński, who once played professional volleyball in Türkiye, also talked with the board about a large sports tournament around Republic Day.

A second meeting was scheduled, to bring in other members of parliament and the association's board.
