Business breakfast: business in Eastern Europe after the pandemic, on the Poland–Türkiye axis
A breakfast conference in Warsaw on business and the economy in Eastern Europe after the pandemic, on the Poland–Türkiye axis, co-organised by TURKPOL's Business Club and the EU–Türkiye Friendship Group.

On Monday 7 March 2022, TURKPOL's Business Club and the EU–Türkiye Friendship Group held a breakfast conference in Warsaw on business and the economy in Eastern Europe after the pandemic, on the Poland–Türkiye axis.
The morning was held with Ryszard Czarnecki, Member of the European Parliament and founder of the EU–Türkiye Friendship Group, and İpek Tekdemir, the Group's Secretary General. It opened with messages of thanks to the Group and to TURKPOL from Zbigniew Rau, then Poland's Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Jacek Sasin, then Deputy Prime Minister.
Around the table were Polish officials, representatives of Poland's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and of the trade ministries of Poland and Türkiye, Polish business people, and Turkish companies working in Poland.
The discussion covered Polish–Turkish trade today: stronger economic and cultural ties after the pandemic, support for new investment projects between Polish and Turkish companies, and the needs of Polish companies working in Türkiye and of Turkish companies working in Poland. Speakers recalled six centuries of diplomatic relations between the two countries, and İpek Tekdemir said she hoped the meeting would be a bridge that strengthens them further.
At the end of the morning, TURKPOL's then President, Mehmet Göktürk İplikçioğlu, presented Ryszard Czarnecki with a plaque of thanks for his support for relations between the two countries.
