Intercultural Picnic in Gdańsk
TURKPOL took part in the Intercultural Picnic organised by and for migrants by the Regional Social Policy Centre of the Pomeranian Voivodeship, with Turkish treats and colouring for children.
In June 2024 TURKPOL had its own stand at the Intercultural Picnic in Gdańsk, an event made with and for migrants by the Regional Social Policy Centre (ROPS) of the Pomeranian Voivodeship, which is responsible for the integration of migrants in the region.
Public institutions, universities and non-governmental organisations took part, and music and dance groups from several countries performed. At the TURKPOL stand visitors tasted Turkish treats, provided with the help of the association's sponsor Delikatesy Oliwka, and children joined colouring activities.
The association came away with offers of cooperation from regional institutions, NGOs and universities for its next events.
