Youth Sport Festival 2025 in Agrykola Park
A free open-air day of football, 3x3 basketball, backgammon, music and food in Warsaw's Agrykola Park, organised by TURKPOL for 19 May, Youth and Sports Day.
On 31 May 2025 TURKPOL held its Youth Sport Festival in Agrykola Park, Warsaw: a free open-air day from 10:00 to 21:00 on a site the City of Warsaw allocated for it. The festival marked 19 May, the Commemoration of Atatürk, Youth and Sports Day. It was planned for 17 May and moved to 31 May, at the same venue and with the same programme, because of a long spell of rain in the forecast.
Young people from many countries played in an international football tournament and a FIBA 3x3 basketball tournament for six teams, and there was a backgammon (tavla) tournament beside the pitches. On the stage, DJ sets alternated with live Turkish music, and prize draws ran through the afternoon. Turkish restaurants and local businesses from Warsaw ran the food and exhibitor stands. The day closed with the trophy and medal ceremony for the winning teams.
The festival was supported by the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities (YTB), with Kolin, Gülermak and Turkish Airlines as sponsors.
