TIDE is founded: TURKPOL becomes strategic partner of the new Türkiye–Europe innovation company

TURKPOL is pleased to announce the founding of TIDE, a new innovation and business-development company working between Türkiye and Europe, and to become its strategic partner.

TIDE helps Turkish technology and innovation companies enter Europe, supports Turkish-founded companies already operating in Europe, and connects European companies and investors with Türkiye. Its work covers four areas: market entry and soft landing, EU-funded projects such as Horizon Europe consortia, partnerships and investment, and events and programmes. TIDE also runs TIDEurope, the network of the Turkish innovation diaspora in Europe, with its pilot hub in Warsaw. Its aim is a lasting, two-way technology and business bridge between Türkiye and Europe.

TIDE was founded by Tunç Meriç, Atilla Arda Beşen (CEO, VolareVers) and Mehmet Göktürk İplikçioğlu. TURKPOL President Tunç Meriç is among its co-founders.

As strategic partner, TURKPOL will work with TIDE to strengthen Poland–Türkiye cooperation in technology, research and business. This includes joint events and business programmes, introductions between Turkish and Polish companies and institutions, and support for Turkish companies taking their first steps in Poland. TIDE now appears among our strategic partners.

The first joint step: Horizon4Poland'26

The first joint step is Horizon4Poland'26 on 3 November 2026 in Warsaw, one of Poland's key Horizon Europe partnering events, organised by the Horizon Europe Industry Contact Points of the Łukasiewicz Research Network. Polish–Turkish technological and defence cooperation is one of the event's four main themes this year. TIDE is organising the debate "Türkiye–Poland Strategic Investment Partnership: New Horizons in Industry, Defence, Energy and Technology" (16:00–17:00) and a joint Türkiye / TIDE area at the Innovation Expo, where a delegation of Turkish technology companies will exhibit. How to register for Horizon4Poland'26

Participation is free. Registration is open until 2 November 2026 on the b2match platform, and the event takes place on 3 November, 10:00–20:00, at The Tides, ul. Wioślarska 8, Warsaw.

• Step 1: create your account. Go to the event's registration page on b2match and sign up with your name, e-mail and organisation.
• Step 2: complete your profile. Say who you are and what you are looking for (partners, consortia, technology or investment), so that other participants can find you.
• Step 3: book meetings. Once registered, you can see the participant list and request 15-minute one-to-one meetings with the people and organisations on it. The meetings take place during the matchmaking session, 16:00–18:00.
• Step 4: get the b2match app. Download the b2match app from the App Store or Google Play and sign in before the event. Your personal agenda, your meeting schedule and the notifications for your meetings are in it, so you have them on your phone on the day.
• Step 5: choose your sessions. Check the programme on the official event page. Workshop places are limited and need the organiser's approval.
• Step 6: on the day. Bring your phone: your meetings are in the app. Come to The Tides from 10:00. Sessions run in Polish and English, with interpretation.
